Viscount Mabrey is the primary antagonist in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.
He is portrayed by John Rhys-Davies.
He is a former member of the Genovian parliament and the uncle of Mia's love interest, Nicholas Devereaux.

Viscount Mabrey is a conniving, cunning and ambitious man. He is very smart and manipulative when it comes to getting what he wants.

Nicholas Devereaux
Viscount Mabrey is the uncle of Nicholas. Nicholas looked up to his uncle and also trusted him, but was oblivious to how his uncle manipulated him by telling a lie about his father's death wish over him. He was also oblivious to how Viscount Mabrey would sabotage others and tried to stop him from interfering in Mia's wedding. However, it is unclear if Mabrey was self-seeking or if his desire for Nicholas to gain the crown was for his nephew's benefit.
